1000 Books B4K is back

Studies have shown that families who start reading aloud to their children from birth help to strengthen their language skills and build their vocabulary – -two important tools for beginning to learn to rad when they enter kindergarten.   Bookmarks to log each time you read a book to your little one are now available at the library.  For every 100 books read, you child will get a treat and a sticker.  When they reach 1000 books, we’ll feature  them in the Edwards County Sentinel and give them a hardback book for a prize.
