The "Patron's Choice" winter book series begins next Wednesday, Januaray 8 at noon with Dr. Galen Boehme leading a discussion on one of his favorite books, "Silas Marner" by George Eliot. "Silas Marner" is the story of a solitary weaver who, wrongly accused of theft in his community, becomes a hermit who hordes his money. AFter his gold is stolen, he finds redemption and purpose in the small child who mysteriously appears on his doorstep. Come in and check out a copy of this short novel, and then attend this event over your lunch hour or after Senior Lunch.
